Recent statements from Obama and follow up responses from Trump indicate how bizarre of a place we are when it comes to conversations about aliens. A former president answers in the affirmative when asked I'd aliens are real. Then a current president accusing his predecessor of leaking classified information followed by an announcement to "locate and release" UFO files.
Like clockwork, the skeptics started crowing about how this is all a psyop and distraction. Now I'm forced to ask if anyone has evidence for this psyop claim. I acknowledge that there's a good chance Trump is at least in part using this to control the narrative from his other failures and scandals. Where we diverge is I admit have no evidence that's what's going on, and I'm certainly not going to extrapolate the unproven assumption I have to dismiss the entire UFO topic as a distraction. This sort of incoherent reasoning has been the dominant media reaction especially online.
For nearly 3 years I've followed the evidence that our government has been lying about their UFO research for decades. I've followed leads to try to verify the existence of the crash retrieval program that has been reported by witnesses and whistleblowers for decades. Every article I write, I'm prepared to defend any claim I make with open source material that anyone else can verify. It's expected that anyone who takes the topic seriously will face a barrage of questions about sources cited and their credibility. Ironically there's a massive double standard on the other end of the spectrum.
Who Needs Evidence? Let's Make Non-Falsifiable Claims Instead
It's completely normalized to make all sorts of claims about a massive, seamlessly coordinated decades long psyop without a shred of evidence as long as the claim is made in service of undermining the UFO topic in general. This "psyop" has turned into giant non-falsifiable claim that conveniently accounts for any evidence that contradicts the claims of skeptics.
You have dozens of whistleblowers telling similar elaborate stories that incriminate the government and defense contractors? Well clearly the government is lying to make us believe aliens are real. There are multiple separate investigations being done in the House and Senate, different Inspectors General offices, and the FBI? Obviously, they are all in on this psyop together. There are documents showing multiple officials attempts to access a UFO crash retrieval program going back nearly 20 years ago? Documents are fake. The millions of sightings from experiencers around the world? Well they clearly don't know they're victims of some MKULTRA operation or they're see classified advanced military tech.
The pysop explains away any inconvenient facts but can anyone present any evidence that it actually exists? Where are the email chains? Did anyone get any leaked documents from this massive elaborate scheme? No notes of a meeting of the evil cabal? Any proof connecting a source of the money to all these shenanigans?
There's a wildly inaccurate caricature that UFO researchers are a bunch of gullible fools with no standards for evidence just spreading gossip and rumors around the camp fire. The community is actually littered with serious professionals who use the skills they've honed throughout their careers to investigate the phenomenon. Lawyers, engineers, nuclear physicist, astrophysics, medical doctors, video analyst, psychologists and even citizen journalists have produced voluminous records of their investigations into UFOs. Leading experts who've made other widely accepted landmark contributions to their fields, have applied the same standards to UFOs.
For years I've highlighted evidence compiled by researchers and I've made my own contribution in good faith in hopes that it would be easier for everyone giving hot takes to find relevant context. The last article I published, I dismantled one of the main (evidence free) criticism of UFO whistleblowers like David Grusch. The consensus among media influencers and journalists has been that no real whistleblowers would go through the Department of Defense Office of Prepublication Security Review to make sure they aren’t accused of leaking classified information in their public statements which can land them in prison.
I not only explained that DOPSR is a legally mandated process for anyone with a security clearance, but contrary to popular belief its actually an adversarial process with the intended purpose of silencing whistleblowers and critics. This was evident by a declassified summary from the CIA top lawyer about how they were going to set this precedent by going after notorious CIA whistleblower Victor Marchetti. Additionally psyop theory proponents didn't even realize that the whistleblowers who they currently praise and regularly interview like John Kiriakou has also submitted his books for prepublication security review. Is anyone calling him a fake whistleblower for clearing his statements through security review.
In this article I'll further expose this evidence free psyop hysteria coming from the side that's allegedly grounded in logic and reason. I've gathered quotes from at least 10 influences and journalists whose collective audience reach is in the millions trying to manufacture consent that there's nothing to see here when it comes to UFOs. As a bonus I'll prove that the exact same arguments being made by the skeptics are ironically the same talking point being pushed by the Pentagons UFO office.
Yes, AARO which has been caught in several verifiable lies, refusing to follow up leads from whistleblowers, smearing whistleblowers publicly, known for withholding evidence and who also gave a contract to a private company who specializes in stopping whistleblowers and tracking leaks is also fully committed to the whistleblowers are liars and everyone is just seeing advanced classified tech narrative.
Journalistic Malpractice and Suppression of Critical Thinking
This isn't meant to be a critique of the entire body of work these journalists have produced across a variety of topics. They do make valuable content. That doesn't give them some supernatural ability to understand complex topics without doing any serious research. I've been on some of their shows and the shows of their colleagues. But this has far passed the threshold for journalistic malpractice and someone needs to correct the record regardless if anyone's feelings get hurt.
The refusal to do any kind of fact checking before making wild claims has become standard. The problem is apparent by realizing this isn't just one or two unscrupulous actors in this space. This echo chamber reaches across the entire new media spectrum. Because this deeply flawed and unsubstantiated view of the UFO topic is the default position for influencers and journalists, members of their audiences are heavily dissuaded from simply doing their own research.
A considerable number of witnesses are telling a consistent story that we've been visited by a non human intelligence, the war machine is suppressing world changing technologies, and a rogue faction has been stealing billions to operate in secret and above the law. There are plenty open source materials to support their claims despite their restrictions on sharing classified information publicly. If even half of this is true this is a matter of public policy which needs to be addressed by an informed citizenry.
Right now there are competing factions of gatekeepers arguing behind the scenes how they want to roll out this "controlled disclosure" limited hangout. That's in addition to factions of secret keepers who don't want any of this out. Some in the program are willing to testify and acknowledge its existence and provide details of its structure in exchange for immunity and amnesty. A handful of whistleblowers like Grusch want disclosure to go even further, no amnesty and if some people end up in prison so be it. There's a faction which wants the basic science to be more widely distributed in academia to help recruit talent for reverse engineering work. There also seems to be some only willing to bring the world changing tech out if can be patented and exploited for billions of dollars to privatize the research taxpayers already paid for. Corporate lobbyist who's firms represent the biggest defense contractors are actively lobbying against legislation that would compel them to hand over an UFO records including crash craft and alien bodies.
There's virtually no rational input whatsoever on how some of the most consequential revelations in human history should happen coming from the independent media space. It's hard to see that changing when everyone in this space is actively limiting the spectrum of conversation. A more sophisticated analysis is required, but that means journalists and influencers in the online news space will actually have to do some research into the topic for once instead of bloviating about imaginary psyops.
All the people who host a news show and never spend more than a few minutes of prep before regurgitating the approved new media dogma on the topics of the day might actually have to spend a few hours or even days doing research before sharing their authoritative hot takes. I know, expecting people in the news space to have the mental bandwidth to form their own opinion on a topic is an unspeakable horror.
Trump is apparently allowing the AARO office in the DoD to take the lead on releasing UFO information. If their previous reports are to be taken as an indicator of what to expect, they will be repeating the decades long official position of the gatekeepers in the national security state. "There's nothing to see here. Everyone's just misidentifying classified US tech. And the whistleblowers are lying or crazy." That’s what we got from project Blue Book, the Condon Committee and the Robertson panel decades ago.
I worry that this consistent narrative that all of this is a psyop, has actually primed the people who would normally be critical of a brazen government coverup, to accept this one hook line and sinker because it feeds their confirmation bias. The irony of all this is whether they know it or not, the people who think they're opposing a psyop are making the exact same arguments to disparage experiencers, witnesses and whistleblowers as the DoD.
History Of Psyops: One of These Things Is Not Like The Others
The US government has to be the world leader in the frequency and scale of psychological operations. They've been used to start wars. They've used to cover up government wrongdoing. Psyops have been used to push the otherwise unpopular agenda of the establishment. They've been used in economic and class warfare.
There are entire units in the military and intelligence community dedicated to planning and carrying out these operations. While these government employees often shape real world events from behind the scenes, some in new media attribute almost supernatural omniscients to the people doing these psyops.
These are human beings working towards a clear definable objective. Let’s compare the previous work that these operators have done to the available evidence and research for the UFO topic. All the previous psyops from the government have a linear objective to accomplish. It's clear who benefits from the action and why. There's almost always a specific window of time the psyop is in operation. There's usually a trail of supporting evidence that a psyop is being carried out such as email and text exchanges. Let's go through some well documented Psyops.
Iraq War
In the lead up to the Iraq War the psyop was to convince the public that not only did Iraq attack us on 9/11, they had nuclear weapons and they were going to use the nuclear weapons on us. The Bush administration lied through their teeth about Uranium even dragging out props like a vile of pretend Uranium to public hearings. Multiple people involved in high level discussions among the National Security Council, including CIA officer John Kiriakou and Col Wilkerson, Colin Powell Chief of Staff admitted this was all a lie. Witnesses in the CIA came out and said the White House was manipulating the intelligence.
When all was said and done the defense contractors who legally bribed the administration got a war and made a bunch of money. One of the people orchestrating all the lies, Dick Cheney, was still receiving payment from his time as CEO of defense giant Halliburton. Yes the lead up to Iraq was a psyop to manipulate the public and all the evidence suggests that.
Russiagate
For at least 4 years the media conversation in the US was completely dominated by this assertion that the Russian government bribed/blackmailed Trump into being an asset, and then installed him as president of the united states. 24 hours a day 7 days a week this was treated as not just the most important news story, but the only news story. This again was a psyop. In order to smear her opponent and subsequently excuse her embarrassing loss to a circus clown, Clinton and her allies in government and media fabricated this entire scandal.
A timeline of events on the ODNI website shows Obama administration officials declaring 12/8/16 that “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.” That same day people were leaking to the Washington Post that the CIA “concluded in a
secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election." Blatant coordinated lies to manipulate the public.
Declassified 2016 notes from the then CIA director John Brennan confirm this was all manufactured by the clinton campaign.
"approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service,”
Additionally it's been revealed that Steele Dossier, the source of the Russian blackmail allegations come from opposition research that a former British spy who paid by Clinton. Clear psyop, with clear objectives and a fixed timeliness that it takes place.
COVID
There's still an open debate about how far back the COVID psyop goes. Some would argue that the psyop was in motion back when Bill Gates was practicing an identical pandemic war game scenario a year prior to the outbreak. What's incontrovertible is that the there was a documented effort by the leadership of the public health establishment to conceal the possibility the pandemic started from a leak at their own lab.
Documents show the NIH to fund the weaponization of coronavirus did happen. In fact there was an NIH funded coronavirus lab in the same city the outbreak allegedly started. Then there are Fauci own email directing his staff and supporters actively engage in a coverup of covid origins as he was consolidating unprecedented powers to become the emperor king of public health, not just in the US but internationally. Fauci spread false information through officials channels to manipulate public reaction. The legitimacy of the global health establishment would have been shattered if the public learned they were responsible for the pandemic. So they engaged in a psyop so their authority to direct billions in government research funding as well as economic, education and even public safety policies like curfews. Clear motive, documented disinformation all to control public opinion, a psyop.
UFOs
Unlike the previous examples, trying to lump the entire UFO topic into a psyop gets messy since no psyop theory can account for all or even most of the available evidence. Instead of giving proponents of this theory pause, many see this as an invitation to make even more outlandish explanations to fit that square peg in the round hole.
Almost none of them will sit down with a researcher and layout an explanation that accounts for decades of available research. But what I'm able to surmise is that they believe all the whistleblowers are lying and or being taken for a ride, committees in the Senate and House are in on the psyop and are pretending to investigate, all the documents even going back to the 40s are fabricated in service of this psyop, and all the pre AI and CGI videos/photos are faked or government tech. If you ask them why all this time effort and millions of dollars have been spent to deceive the public be ready for a spectrum of ridiculous theories pulled straight from their asses ranging from: it's a distraction from [insert preferred news topic], to start a one world government, hide government tech, and even to hide the existence of angels and demons.
This topic by definition is going to invite speculation and competing theories. I accept that and welcome it because both serve a purpose. But my patience has run exceptionally thin for journalists making assertions that this nebulous loosely defined psyop exists and using that baseless assertion as justification to dismiss decades of evidence compiled by researchers. You can't hand waive away dozens of whistleblowers and millions of experiencers. Your evidence free theories don't carry the same weight as the other side of this debate.
This consensus that every and any theory is by default more believable than the fact we've been visited by a non human intelligence is outdated an ignores the facts at hand.
Max Blumenthal And Lee Fang
Like clockwork whenever there's a UFO story that gets enough mainstream attention, a bunch of journalists who don't follow the topic or any relevant developments at all have some trite and recycled hot takes that must be shared. Max Blumenthal felt compelled to get in on fun with some punchy vague tweets insinuating that any discussion about UFOs is just a distraction. This is a common approach of people peddling the psyop theory. They can't be bothered to refute any of the endless developments on the topic with a logical argument so they drop buzzwords in authoritative declarations which just reinforces the audience confirmation bias while offering no new information to verify or disprove.
It started with Max responding to the viral clip of Obama answering matter-of-factly confirming aliens are real. Instead of engaging with the substance of what's said, Blumenthal felt the need to create a weird false dichotomy between his answer to the question about aliens and his answers on Gaza as if that proved anything at all.
In another such tweet days later after Trump said that he'll release the files, Blumenthal comments "They're doing it. Again" over a tweet from Lee Fang. The original tweet from Lee was yet another vague post to disparage a whistleblower by strongly suggesting this is all a psyop and providing no coherant line of argument.
2 days after David Grusch testified to Congress about the UFO crash retrieval program, journalists Lee Fang made a post¹⁰ about 2 historic instances where the government used fake UFO stories to mislead the public. The first example was when government documents showed that THE CIA fabricated in UFO stories as a distraction during their coup in Guatemala. That did happen. In the 1950s. The amount of leaps in logic you'd have to make in order to come away with the conclusion that the CIA provably lying about UFOs in 1950s means that every other UFO story is also a lie would be breathtaking.
In a recent interview John Kiriakou describes how when he captured Abu Zabaydah for the CIA they fabricated a gas leak to evacuate the neighborhood. If we're going to apply Lee Fangs logic that must mean gas leaks aren't real, or better yet, every gas leak is part of some CIA plot.
It's convenient that no one should judge the cases individually and on their merits. Because if Lee or Max looked beyond the surface level analysis that they both mention UFOs there's not much in common between Gruschs investigation and the stories planted in Guatemalan media. In the 50s it was just intelligence operatives writing up bullshitt for their assets in the media to print. That's different than a principle investigator on congressionally mandated task force bringing a report and 40 witnesses to 2 separate Inspectors General offices, and testifying to several Congressional committees.
Right there the scale of coordination it would take to pull off such an interagency fraud on the public about a completely fictitious topic is already orders of magnitude larger than what be necessary to plant a fake story in a newspaper. So if you're going to claim these two things are exactly the same you should probably have some shred of evidence that all these people in different offices in different branches of the government all got on board with this massive deception.
Further more nothing in those planted fake UFO stories brought negative attention to the US government or intelligence agencies. Grusch story is the exact opposite. He's accusing agencies in the government and defense contractors of outright fraud, theft and lying to the public. What kind of distraction implicates the people perpetuating the distraction? Wouldn't that just invite more scrutiny into their actions?
Which brings me to the second part of Lee's tweet. He cites a claim from CIA officials that most UFO sightings from the 50s- 60s were misidentifications of the U2 spy plane. I'm sure that happened to some people but it seems like an extraordinary claim to suggest that tests flights of a spy plane was responsible for thousands of sightings. Did anyone ever cross reference all the U2 test flights to the thousands of reports in that time frame to calculate that most of the sightings were of U2s? Or are we now accepting unsourced claims from CIA officials who have every incentive to lie? Which brings me to point about both of these stories on the CIA and false UFO reports. Isn't it convenient that the only government UFO documents that are deemed credible and accepted at face value are the ones that support the narrative of these psyop mongers.
KONA BLUE
If we're taking government documents at face value let's talk about the DHS KONA BLUE Special Access Program. After attempts to get access to the crash retrieval program through the Defense Intelligence Agency, then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, the Chairmen of Homeland Security and Budget committees and DIA scientists approached the DHS leadership to make another attempt. Over 50 pages of internal DHS documents from 2012 detail an elaborate attempt to access a program that these Senators had been denied access to.
The KONA BLUE proposal, was set in motion by the Undersecretary for Science and Technology Tara O'Toole to create an inventory of crashed UFOs already in possession of the US government and research the phenomenon in general. It even describes the same exact Legacy program made up of government agencies, contractors national labs and academic institutions as whistleblowers like David Grusch.
The crafting of this proposal took at least 6 months. Included is even the minutes of of a meeting of the Special Access Program Oversight Committee, (SAPOC) which oversees the most highly classified sensitive programs in the DHS. Members of the SAPOC named at the meeting were Jane Lute Deputy Security of DHS, the Undersecretary for Intelligence, General Council and DHS Chief Security Officer among others were present. The minutes of the meeting say "Dr. O'Toole explained that there is very serious science involved with this program."
Two more interesting quotes I want to share from this wild document are in the justification for creating the program
"Recovered [UFO] technology exists in and is accessible only within a SAP construct."
The next justification for KONA BLUE was "retrieval and integration of historical data from high value personel with knowledge of Recovered [UFO] technology and present location of Recovered material is accessible only within a SAP construct."
Harry Reid tried to sneak in through the back door of the existing program by creating an adjacent SAP that was under congressional oversight so they not only had the security clearance but the need to know to access the crashed UFOs. It's unclear why this KONA BLUE proposal wasn't approved but James Lacatski, the program manager for Reids DIA attempts, claims that the KONA BLUE program was approved after amendments were made to the proposal.
So which is it? Are we accepting internal government documents as legitimate evidence to be analyzed or all the government documents faked in furtherance of a psyop. Because what's not acceptable is cherry picking the ones that back your psyop mania narrative while completely ignoring the ones that contradict your established bias.
Lee Fang Cites Anonymous Intel Officials
To further prove Lee's glaring hypocrisy, last year he provided an update on his psyop delusion by sharing an article making the most outlandish claims, with not a single document presented and sourced entirely by DoD officials, most of whom were anonymous but work in an office that has been brazenly involved in a UFO coverup.
The WSJ article has been accurately torn to shreds from every angle by whistleblowers, witnesses and researchers correcting false statements. I'm not going to rehash the whole article
Instead I want to focus on the most relevant claim. In the article officials from the AARO office provided a completely different story for why all these whistleblowers are claiming this program exists than what was included in their congressionally mandated report. Previously they said whistleblowers were just mistaking classified US tech for UFOs. Now they are claiming that thousands of Air Force members had been subject to a hazing ritual where someone would brief them in a SCIF about an allegedly fake UFO reverse engineering program named Yankee Blue, made them sign NDA's and swear not disclose information of this fake program. And years later they all believe the program is real because no one ever told them it was a joke. Apparently thousands of people signed these fake NDAs about this fake program but somehow the WSJ couldn't include a single one in this article.
They also didn't interview a single officer who was tricked by this hazing ritual. These stenographers just took the word of officials with a clear agenda and conflict of interest uncritically. Former AARO Directors are claiming that the DoD opened an investigation and they briefed the DNI about Yankee Blue. Of course not a single document from this investigation has been made public, but it's even worse. Journalists John Greenwald put in a FOIA requests to the relevant offices seeking any documentation about Yankee Blue but so far he keeps getting responses that the records don't exist.
This is arguably the most unhinged theory I've heard to discredit all these whistleblowers and yet none of this raised a single red flag to Lee Fang?
Just like it's fine to accept documents at face value when they confirm his psyop mongering, Lee Fang is willing to uncritically accept deranged conspiracies from DoD officials as long as it confirms his bias. Ironically whistleblowers legally restricted from disclosing classified information and face prison or worse for leaking are held to a held to a higher standard and expected to release their classified evidence publicly even if they end up in prison. But DoD officials who have the ability to declassify any evidence necessary to support their case get a pass to run their mouth without anyone asking "wheres the evidence."
AARO
The fact that independent journalists are so sympathetic to AARO is concerning because the office has been involved in the coverup since it's inception. It's is the consensus that among witnesses that AARO isn't actually investigating their claims despite legal mandate from Congress to do exactly that.
One of the country's top public interest lawyers Danny Sheehan, who's been involved in the topic since the 70s and is currently providing legal representation to whistleblower signed a letter that years ago he gave AARO actionable information that would lead them to documentation of at least one crash retrieval operations. He saw the documents himself as part of his official duties as an appointed special council in 1977 and provided enough evidence for AARO to track down the documents but they didn't.
Similarly Eric Davis, a witness of David Grusch gave the contact information of people working on the program at defense contractors. Davis claims none of them were contacted. Other witnesses like Michael Herrera have accused AARO of misrepresenting the testimony he provided and adding claims that Herrera never made.
Conflicts of Interest
The former Director Sean Kirkpatrick was caught lying when he said he never received a UFO briefing until he joined AARO. That was proven to be a lie when a photo surfaced of him at UFO briefing for staff of the Senate Armed services committee and it was confirmed by a senate staffer that Kirkpatrick had attended multiple meetings while he was at US Space Commmand.
Kirkpatrick and his deputy Director Tim Phillips have been on a years long campaign to attack the credibility of whistleblowers like Grusch. After Congress announced they'd have another UFO hearing Phillips made a comment on LinkedIn saying "more BS from former contractors seeking media attention with unsubstantiated claims they supported another covert [UFO] program."
This is truly bizarre behavior from an office that is actively soliciting witnesses to testify to them and conduct follow up investigations. This was far from the first or last time they publicly attacked witnesses who's claims they should be investigating without bias.
These actions actually make sense if AARO was just the newest iteration of Project Blue Book, where the outcome is predetermined that there's nothing to see here. Further evidence to support this is a a $4.1 million contract for "AARO Support Services" to a company named Sancorp. The former leadership of AARO claim this contract was only for scientific analysis. But if you go to Sancorps website they clearly advertise there Insider Threat defense services. This is one of the niche companies that came out offering to help the government track, prevent and catch employees working in the government that may turn whistleblower after multiple damning dumps from wikileaks .
I'm supposed to believe there was no one else AARO could give this massive contract to other than a company that specializes in hunting whistleblowers? None of the psyop mongers in independent media will ever address why it is their perspective on whistleblowers seems to align with the official narrative of government operators with irrefutable conflicts of interest pushing an agenda.
Lee Fang and Max Blumenthal should know better. But they are effectively acting as useful idiots and doing the work of AARO by convincing their audience that there's nothing to see here. And it's not just them, all of the biggest voices in New media are pushing the same narrative without a lick of critical thinking. Everyone's sure it's a psyop, but no one can provide any evidence. And it's even more pernicious because they won't even engage with the mountain of evidence that contradicts their claims
